Thanks mate.
Just sat through the film and thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it.
That was a stunning effort from an independent and kept very close to the moody and bleak feel that Jackson produced.
The acting was good, CGI excpetional and even the fight scenes were very well done (this is one area that usually lets films down).
Here's looking forward to The Hobbit.

At first I thought it may be a little rubbish but I was taken aback to the attention to detail they put into the making of it. The actors were very good and reminded me of the originals. It's a shame there will not be a Lord of the Rings no 4!

I actually emailed Chris Bouchard, the Director, to thank him for his excellent work. I thought he was very faithful to Jacksons work and kept a lot of the Tolkein, mood sentiment and feeling.
Didn't expect a response, but go this back....
Thanks for the kind comments Alan! that was a lovely email to read, made it all worthwhile.
all the best to you!

That was good of him to respond! It would have been ven better had he offered you a part in the next film! I was going to say as Gendolf but you may bop me one if you ever saw me at a scooby meet!
