Bad road up there. Mate was in a lad's corsa a few years back that crashed just before the NCM Museum Blacker Lane, lass in the back was scalped, his needle stuck at 99mph. Storrs Hill, Chevet Lane are others to be careful on.

 

Bad news that, I use that road a bit for work. Hope we are all accounted for, but still someones sad loss, lessons to learn.

 

we are all accounted for just been to local shop and shop owner told us about the lad who has been killed we know the lads girlfriend she lives just over the road from us he wasnt a member of wyioc although it doesnt make it any easier our thoughts are with his family and girfriend at this sad time

 

not good is it! asked about at work today an he wa a chef on his way home from work! he wont in a good way when he first came in to pinders!

Been lead to beleave he was the landlord from the Travellers Rest, Upper Hopton. Did not know the guy myself.

i'm glad that we havent lost one of our own ranks there, but sympathies still go out to the family, its not a good feeling to lose someone in the prime of their life.

surely something will be done about that road though now? how many lives has it claimed??

 

they have just redone that stretch of road so doubt it its the camber thats wrong but as usual nobody will admit it as been said too many have died on that road already we hear sirens all time and just know its another accident on that road
