Angry strutbrace nightmare

after all day messing with these things i nearly gave in the front 1 went in easy as cake, but when it comes to the back pffffft. only finding out u need to take out your back seats and all of the plastics just to find where to cut for the mounts took me hours of hacking at it with a knife and hammer propper brutal but i was trying to keep the plastics as much as i could and this is what its ended up like. im hating these estate's even more

after all that i found the front brace is knocking my intercooler under torque.

fitted the rear to mine, took the back seets out all together, removed the seatbelts to get more room and basically curled up in the boot (suprised how big the boot was lol) I took the ends off and fitted those first but it was a right biatch getting the bar in, just used brute force

I remember SteveChaps fitting the rear on his blobeye. One of those jobs where half-way through you wish you hadn't bothered

That I/C looks in desperate need of a cocktail stick

Use it to straighten the fins on the I/C. If the air doesn't pass through it, the air inside it doesn't get cooled. High intake temps reduce power

Make sure you remove the cheese and pickled onion before you start poking the intercooter though.
