The OE strutbrace on my MY94 WRX/STi has a sort of adjuster on the left strut top,not clear how its supposed to be used, does anyone with a similar car have experience they can share?

I have a my98 with an aluminium strutbrace ( pink ends ) .It has a small cam located on the near side I think it is just for fitment adjustments so it can fit on most top mounts, might be worth lokking into it a bit more though.
