Default Bad luck comes in three's . . .

For the third time in six months, the front end of my car needs work on it

First it was a Transit Connect reversing into the 'teg

Then a Honda Jazz did the same to the Elise two weeks after I got it

Now on the way home from tonight's meet whilst doing 70 on the '62 . . a low flying road sign or piece of metal, decides it wants to re arrange the front end

Result is one bit of fibreglass missing, and a fair few scratches . . does'nt look like its cracked the front end anywhere tho

So I'll be off to Altons in the morning for a quote . . . I must be due discount from them by now

Dave ( corradoboy) cheers for pulling up on the hard shoulder to check everything was ok

Doesn't look too bad, mine's worse After hitting you the said article bounced off my car In the dark under the driveway floods I've spotted a dent and scuff in the leading edge of the bonnet, and scuffs to the bumper, front wing and mirror The dent is quite a soft one so I hope will push out easily, and the scuffs are having nothing more than ScratchX for now I'll have to get someone to crash into me again to get them to pay the repair bill like last time

Here's how mine faired

Front showing dent to bonnet leading edge, 3 slats missuing from my grille (had to check they hadn't gone into the intake duct), various scuffs and a chip off the fog surround, and my 'vRS' badge gone...

...the dent...

...and some of the scuffs down the side...

I think the scuffs will buff out, the chip I'll do with touch-up, try and get a 2nd-hand grille and the dent can wait for spring
