Not TO55 come MOT time, unless you have a tame tester, I do and still got one anyway.

The law are pushing us all closer to the letter of the law, road-side testing is possible, even noise levels will have to be as standard, (on V5 ).

You don't lose much in the way of bhp, but may get a CEL warning light if the cat is way different to the standard one.... mine's 3 years old now and still o.k.

Thanks to TSL for supply,
Thanks to Well Lane Turbos for fitting.

Thumbs up advise

Thanks for the replies....
but as people have said i don't want a de-cat because of the problems nowadays with MOT's / roadside tests and so on....
i understand that a de-cat would give me the best flow....

but

would the free flow sports cat not be better than the cat that is already in place as it has less cells inside thus giving a better flow resulting in a gain in bhp / power

thanks again... Peppe........

Absolutely correct, but you really need a RE-MAP. I left mine 2 years, after fitting a TSL spec 333 BHP set-up with some extras to go further.... no probs with flow so far. Maybe as we pass 400 bhp

Dunx

P.S. also deletes the second cat = better flow
