hi there im new to the scooby world and im wanting my99 uk car serviced where abouts should i take it? its also got a bad surging in the later gears the turbo seems to be on off on off so i could do with some truthful advice on this. cheers darren

After that I'd go for Howard at HDC Subaru in Hebdon Bridge. Penine in Hebdon Bridge are well respected too.

If you want a main dealer, Bowetts in Hunslet offer a 10% discount if you mention you're in the WYIOC (West Yorks OC).

It depends on where you are, but you could start off by trying Zac & Drew @ precious Metals in Knottingly or even Rick who posts on here as Sub1600 who works out of Elvington......

Some of the main Subaru dealers also get good reviews... but there'll be people along with names and addresses shortly..

im in leeds nr moortown im not too fussed about main dealer i may be wrong but i was thinking a respective specialist may be more honest than a main dealer?and maybe more reasonable,as long as its a good service and i get a stamp for the book!

 

Call me obvious, but I thought it best to post something whilst waiting for those who regularly put the more detailed info in...

 

Rick is probably your best man in this case, but he's usually very busy (because he's good)...

But Zac & Drew are getting some good reviews and will give you an open and honest appraisal..

 

Rick is still freelance so may not be able to stamp your book, at least last time we spoke he hadn't got that bit sorted. But he is the most knowlegeable and honest guy I could recommend. Howard is up there with him however, and can indeed stamp your book.

 

What Dave (Corradoboy) said. Rick @ Elvington. Wouldnt take mine anywhere else. Honest and reliable which is a lot more than could be said for the majority of main dealers round here... and if anyone jumps on me, ask me for my experiences!!
