Main Meet - 30th June
Famous Junes?
June Whitfield - How we laughed to Terry & Junes hilarious exploits in Happy Ever After & the originally titled Terry & June as we sat in front of the old Black & White redifusion as our mums cut our hair on a Sunday night ready for school.. If I was lucky, I'd have a glass of Alpine's delicious Dandelion & Burdock to wash down the Jam Sandwich..
Interested in Junes traditional birthstones of Pearl, Moonstone & Alexandrite? No, neither am I.
HMAS Junee (J-362/M-362), named after the town of Junee somewhere in Australia, was a Bathurst class corvette which was launched in 1943 and sold for scrap in 1958. What a fascinating vessel..
And then there's June Carter Cash who married...
Johnny Cash quite a long time ago..
So.. there you go! June.. what an exciting month when you move away from the boring subject of Gods & Deities...
I must thank those who moaned about my educational and interesting preludes that there was life elsewhere..
If you would like to hear more interesting stories about famous July's, then moan again about the Gods.. otherwise, normal service will be resumed.
**************
So, for those still reading, here are the details for this months meet..
Venue - Most Likely Cubley Hall as we have no alternative at the moment.. But this will be debated on and after the Mid Month Run to the pub itself on the 16th.. Apple & Daz Meston have both visited the place and it seems to get a thumbs up.. We can confirm their thumb's accuracy then
Please find details on the Club Details - Venue & Events Thread

Al - another excellent start to our monthly thread.
A truly educational piece - you have most certainly excelled yourself, estimable Chairman.
I too can vouch for Cubley Hall, based on a 40th birthday bash for a well known local estate agent, attended last year....
Next week's foraging will confirm.

Wasn't it 120 men in a Flight, Al? Think of the possibilities there...

Will be great to see you again mate.. Will you be coming on the Mid Month Run, 30th Meet or both?
I'm always on the look out for you when I pass your Gaff.. You're obviously too busy working..
It will look a bit better when I get the Carbon rear on at it's first service and the T20 stickers through from Litchfield to put on the light covers and Sticky's T20 3D Badge to go on the side....You coming to the NBO?

Will try make mid month and end month meets. Car is in transit as i type. With its new masculine Do-Luck front end. Unfortunately there is no room for a front number plate - shame!!!!!
Al - I was actually at the side of of you the other day. I was in my Courtesy Car - Nissan Primera. Bland car but the spec was brilliant, Sat Nav is superb, and it has cameras in the back bumper, which would be brilliant in my Supra as you cant see a damned thing!!!!
Next time ur passing, just stop in, be good to have a nosey around the new motor!!!
See you all soon
