Not sure mate, I'll post nearer the time. I need to check with Ian on Thursday as I'm not sure what time he needs to be there to sign in.... plus whoever wishes to join & maybe some of the SMACS Lads if they're going and fancy a meet & drive...

1st May - Elvington
I'm going straight from Otley and aiming to be there for 8:30.
Anyone just wanting to be a passenger can turn up whenever they want. Beware - there is a £5 fee but that means you can be a passenger in any car (as long as the Driver agrees!)
You will also need a Helmet.
F360CS now has two pilots since Paul went through his briefing and induction session today One of the best drivers I know - fab being a passenger with him.
Only one thing now - pray for good weather!!

Please ensure that my £5, with the word 'ALAN' crayoned in in big black letters, is well and truly stapled to your, or Pauls, forehead...

If you're signed as a driver you can passenger in any other car.
There are Driver wrist bands and passenger wrist bands - as long as the colours match the seats then off you go!

I think you can hadle the Schumacher tag...
Don't let the fact that I'm an advanced driver ,unqualified observer and Police Road Craft trained person add any more pressure..
I'll be too busy grinning..

Anyway, mine wasn't from the Force. Just paid extra tuition from an Ex-Pat Met Instructor who was living in Cyprus. I was in the RAF and he took me through the IAM Advanced test with extras...
Got some great stories from his instruction and contacts in the Cypriot Police who new when we were doing the 'extras'.. Great stuff. I'll have to bore you senseless over a beer ot 6 some time..
