you could have had toyo t1r for that kind of money....by far superior than falkens with optimum grip levels.falkens are crap but all depends on if you can drive your car or not lol

Have you used both?
Although Toyo's are nice and grippy as hell in dry the Falkens are great all rounders, don't wear out as fast, have ample dry grip, don't aquaplane like toyos better in wet for grip, better in cold. Just better all round.
I was running toyos then went to ze912 then havenet really tried these fk452 proper yet but they have a similar tread patter to the t1rs so think theyl be good.... try you might like them.

ive tried alot of tyres as i am a tyre technician....falkens were on my type r scooby,i found them to be too hard a compound which is what affects their ability to grip well.as for aquapjlaning, how often do you do that? lol you may not know this but the t1 r tyre is designed for rain driving aswell as dry driving which is why thet have the v shape grooves.
a simple test for you to try.find a decent sized roudabout and go around it quickly and see what your falkens could do then do the same with your warn out t1 r tyres.il put money on it the t1 r tyres take you around the roundabout faster!!!! and thats with them warn!!!! all tyres aquaplane mate, if its value for money you want use falkens,if its handling you want use t1r! ive got them on my 800 bhp skyline and 467 bhp type r scooby....wouldnt use anything else.

Can genuinely say for confidence in the wet the T1R's are low compared to the falkens. Dry yes T1Rs are good but so are the falkens.
I can agree with you however the falkens are harder compound, at least in the ze912s, its funny you say your a tyre technician it shows how many different opinions there are. The guy I get tyres from has had a 520hp porsche a quick evo (never found out the hp from him) and a ferrari and he swears that falkens are a much better tyre than the toyo or yoko equivilent saying that the latter two need to be warm before they perform.

Toyo's were ok for me, prefer the good old good year eagle f1 gsd3's
Outrun the toyo's in terms of grip in wet and dry - probably the softest tyre i have come across - doesn't last long though
