dump valve?
what u ppl recon to them, im seriously considering getting one? what are your thoughts?

Down to personal choice int he end, but from what i've seen on here the car can run worse than it did with the satndard recirc valve on, plus the sound can get a bit annoying after a while.

i personally like them and dont think they are chavvy but they do run better with the oem recirc............(newage)

im concernd will the sound get annoying? like u say if the car starts to run differently would it be an issue swapping bk?

nah just swap it back if it does your head in. Depends how much you drive tbh mate. Go on youtube and listen to a few samples before you part with your cash.
its a matter of personal taste. My TypeR had one but my blob didnt.

a guy breaking a scooby on here atm has a blitz adjustable one he is willing to sell for 60 quid!
and i love the sound of dump valves my self, nothing like it, good tunnel = heaven

Dont know if my ten-pence worth of info is anygood for you stevosti, but i had a forgemotorsport and as "ok" as it was and quite cheap (compared to other makes) i prefer the HKS III that H advised, better sound, not so annoying, looks better but DOES cost a fair bit more.
If you go for cheap i.e. fleabay, expect leakage and backfiring but at £30 as opposed to £265, you gets what you pay for.

What about valveless. Just remove the standard valve, blank it off and listen to the "squirrel chatter".

HKS BLOW OFF VALVE sounds ace and if you catch the gear change just right scare the crap out of old people walking down the street lol

it was on my car when i bought it and to be honest ive got bored of it so going back to oe as for it running better i cant comment as i have never had an oe one fitted and i dont know how much there worth there on ebay new for £140 so say £75 posted with the bung

if anyones interested i have a apexi/apex twin piston adjustable dumpvalve for sale. just want rid so will let it go cheap. i had it to replace my bailey i never fitted it (it is used) but just managed to get a ssq so thats going on instead!!!!

there is a chrome fitting kit included to fit the impreza, 90 degree chrome elbow. all hoses required included and securing brackets
