Thats right Lee, was very suprised

Lag could be a whole heap of things, my up pipe is a hayward and scott slip joint, standard diameter (I think it was 41mm - a quick google will find it though). Mine had a cat in it as standard.

Did your ecu have a breakdown then, you said the car was hunting after it was reset.
I was on later in the day after the 200sx. made 308.9bhp so pleased to crack the magic 300!
Yea mate did you have yours remapped or just a power run ?? I was also happy to crack the magic 300 mark lol. Yes my ecu had some corrupt data on it that was causing it not to idle properly, So had to have new ecu in the end but is all sorted now hopefully

Very weird your car ben. The idle area of the map not writting correct to he ecu as the replacement ecu with your map in was (and I hope still is) spot on.

Had another car exactly the same hunt on idle this week also a 99 sti type r lol
Was starting to think oh no not again but that was the dump valve as blocking it off fixed it.

Yes was very weird.. Car is running fine now altho i think i need to adjust the idle just a fraction so would i do that on the cable or is there a little idle adjustment screw somewhere like my old car ??

One thing i have noticed is my dump valve is starting to get weak and think it just started leaking last night... If i replace it would i have to come up Surrey for a tweak or can you tweak it in Maidstone ?? Also would you recommend going for another standard dv or an aftermarket one ??

Cheers, Ben
