Did it have two young ladies in it cos I saw them about 5ish.
I was in the STI7 looking rather cool and Alpha-Male-ish.
I wasn't racing. Just you seemed to be stuck in third.
I like to stick to my own pace.

What, the town houses that are in excess of 500k? If I had a 500k town house I'd have a better car than a P1 [There's someone on SMM in a 'non 500k house' who's got a Tuscan S]. OTOH if I was spending 500k on a house I wouldn't expect to be within a mile of my neighbours....

Hey Carl, I know the prices are crazy. I was going to ask him for financial advice (very expensive house and P1 'n' all). The Tuscan I believe used to be here where I am now (kept in secret).

And about being a mile from away everybody else, thats what I thought when I bought mine!

Somebody's doing something right, I wish I knew what exactly.

Is 'where you are now' at work? Don't you work at that place that's almost opposite the Plume? I used to go in there lunchtimes when I worked at Raytheon in Harlow.

No, where I live.

Yes I do work where you think, I have not been to the Plume for ages (at least 2 years), it became really grotty, usually go to the Moorhen now. Us locals will all have to meet in the HM and have a natter.

Cool

If you are talking Mr. SUBE, never waves or flashes at me.... sob, sob and he doesn't live in town house as have dropped details of meets through his letterbox in past to see if he would turn up. I think it is the only standard P1 about!?

Good old SMM -- I think I signed a petition against that being buillt

Actually it's somewhat ironic as I now live in a house built after SMM (ex College playing fields).

It may or may not be a comfort to those who wish to own a Town House on SMM? that they may not be so desirable if they build the take away next door to them!!! ????

I am all for take-aways, but not in my back yard I'm afraid, will be protesting very strongly as I can see the lane being a short cut..

Sounds like a plan. Have walked past many a time and seen the mean machine, but no sign of the owners to indulge in a little 'tire kicking' with.
I have to say the Stortford Massive is quite a large contingent, but it just seems we can never get it together to all meet up.....

I also saw SUBE this evening on the bypass (didn't wave at me, either). Also RB5 with the WR spoiler in Coggeshall (but that's not near Stortford, obviously).

Angry

Jen,
i've been away but I went to the meeting at the community centre, and they had collected 300 individual objections by the close of business. very important when the road for access for all the extra trafficthey intend to use is the one that goes past your front door!!!

Mr SUBE may not wave, but Gza has a P1, and he is also on SMM, and he does wave

Hey John good for you. I think I'll get a lot of traffic too, people taking a short cut and running the last of the way, there was always going to be parking for 80 cars there, so I guess it has already been approved? Its a nightmare, but I dont think there is anything that can be done about it (I know call me defeatist). Jen.

Unhappy

No, the original planning application (for SMM) deliberately made T Lane a none traffic, limited access road only. Countryside now need to reverse this planning approval to get access to the 15 social housing units they want to build above the retail units!!!
Failure to build these will lead them to be in breach of there original application.
