Very nice silver Impreza turbo (scoobysport exhaust?) in Ikea car park this afternoon (Bristol). Saw you eyeing up my UK STi

Hooray, spotted at last, though you spoiled my shopping experience. I drove an STi last week and finally forgot about it till today when fond memories came flooding back Fantastic car you've got but you know that already .

Thanks Iain

The SS backbox is great I must admit. I've been thinking about brake upgrades, wheels, Ecutek upgrade, high level spoilers etc but when I see a car like yours it seems pointless. May as well buy an STi 7. What did you have before and how did it compare?

Mike

Hi

Had a pretty standard MY00 turbo before the STi, just had PIAA driving lamps and a Magnex backbox(see here). I was going to get the PPP fitted, but decided to go for the STi instead . As for the comparison, it's much better built, less road noise, comfier seats, much faster , seems to handle better round the bends. I've got a ss backbox on it, which although doesn't seem to have improved performance, it does sound nicer . Prodrive are bringing out a PPP for the STi in the next few months, so I may have to investigate that....

Cheers,
Iain
