Swiss Tony?? 11/01 morning on the A40...
Nice looking scoob mate...in the best colour of course...Mica Blue
Were those 18" wheels you had on and what size tyre if you don't mind me asking?
I was in the scoob with the Speedline wheels.
Nice one!

That was indeed me
I do apologise for the state of the car, I tend to keep it clean most of the time, but with the recent weather and the fact I have been a lazy sod, it is looking very sad for itself
I did spot you coming up behind and then saw you waving like a loon
It is sitting on 17's actually, Rota CRA ones in steel grey (well mucky grey right now ) and Toyo T1R's..215/45R17W
I had Rota 18" on there before and they were shockingly bad for handling so I switched back

Now your making me feels guilty!!
I was waving like a loon as I thought you were a fellow scoob owner going for the same unpolished look as me!
Too many glass like polished and clean examples about....I'll leave that for the summer thanks!
My car's sporting the authentic rally stage look at the mo, complete with genuine mud spalshes along both sides in keeping with the WRC heritage!!
(I also can't be ar$ed to wash it and see it filthy after a day)!
Surprised at the wheels being 17"'s as at a passing glance, they look quite big...nice look with the mud flaps too!
I intended on sticking to 17"s aswell to keep the handling sweet but could't resist a set of P-WRC1 18" rims a guy was selling on the forums dirt cheap!
Am hoping they don't spoil the handling too much as they are a lightweight good quality wheel but we'll see when I eventually get some tyres on them and on the car!
Nice one mate.

Ah ha, a fellow " I cant be arsed, it is ****e weather and who cares" owner
Very unlike me I can tell you though, it will be shiny very soon
Have fun with the 18's mate, just be prepared for some tramlining, the odd 'backend to step out' occasion and leave them until the summer for the bling factor. Also be prepared for ultra rubber band tyres (as that is the only option on your offset) and the fact that if you have mates in the car, you will get the odd rubbing on the rear arches
