Hello to all scooby owners that attended.

I believe there were some LADS there, appologies for not comming to say hello, but was too busy out on track.

Also hello to the guy in the silver blobeye I spoke to, nice to see you were giving the other cars a hard time.

I was in the black blobeye with yellow SMACS/Nurburgring stickers on the rear spoiler end plates.

I was at the Donington track day 23rd october, only saw 2 other Scoobs at that. What circuit did you use today and did anyone get approx lap times and if so for what type and spec of Scoob.

We used the short circuit, with the chicane at the end of the back straight to bring you onto the start/finish straight.

Not sure on times currently, but I video'd plenty of my laps so will post up some times when I have had time to go through them.

Didn't get much time on track, got black flagged twice for being too noisy

I was on the short circuit too and prefer that to the grand prix circuit.

Now put together a short video of a couple of laps - Subaru Videos - South Manchester And Cheshire Subarus (SMACS)

Fastest was 1.27(ish) chasing a 911 Turbo, which is lap 2 on the video.

What spec is your car as thats a good time. I've got a standard MY00 Turbo 2000 UK spec and best time was a 1.41 which I thought was good as I have limited track day experience and there was oil on the circuit on the braking area in to the chicane. Had fun with a Lotus Elise which I couldn't quite get past but could keep up with.
