Sorry I missed you.

Car looks sweet.

How did you get the vents out of the bumper, the ones underneath the indicator?

I'm putting clear lenses on, and the orange vent will spoil the look.

They come out pretty easy really, all i did was put a hook into a bent wire coathanger slid it through and pulled the vent out, came out without a struggle.
They just pop back into place

Grahame,

Loads to do, but like you, lot's of visitors come up for Bank Hol's, and it's usually a 'mare on the roads.

Some nice drives through Chatsworth and the peak district, (plenty of pub's) but the roads through Matlock and Matlock Bath (Bike mecca on a Sunday and Bank Hol's) get really snarled up.

Gulivers Kingdom if you've got kids, Chatsworth house is nice if your into that kind of thing.

Best bet it to enjoy the country side, but watch for the bikers in your mirrors!

Cheers.. we are staying in Darley Dale, just wanted some pubs/food and that sort of thing for the evenings (and probably the days) that werent too far away either on foot or in a cab..

RE: pictures, best to register on Photobucket or somewhere like that to host them, and then you can just use the [IMG] tags that they put on there to insert your pictures..

Cheers

What is it with Matlock, it seems to be a haven for anything with wheels and an engine at the weekend (and when the sun is out!) The amount of traffic pisses me off, ok if you ride a motorbike, maybe its a point to show off their traffic dodging skills and time each other to see who can get there the quickest!

Dunno..

My girlfriends mum suggested it as it's meant to be nice and it's not too far a drive from us..

The fact i drive a Scooby is purely coincidental.. But i will be driving there parking up and hopefully not touching the car till i go home again..

Get there early if you want a parking spce, it is a nice village though, some great roads to drive on if your not stuck behind any older drivers (over 65!)
