Near Tesco's St. Neots Sunday lunchtime.

I was actually in my Impreza for a change, rather than that horrible noisy black Alfa that for some totally illogical reason I seem to drive more often.

Actually it's not that illogical, it's pretty well sorted for a 14 year old car, time to spend some money on mods for the Impreza I think !!!

I thought that was you!! That's the first time i've actually seen you in the scoob. That was the only time I'd been driving the WRX all weekend, I've been in my noisy Italian!!

The only other noisy Italian I saw over the weekend was a Countach near Eynesbury Post Office on Sunday afternoon - that wasn't you was it, it did sound absoolutely gorgeous.

P.S. I know it's unlikley but you might have traded in the Ferrari !

Nah, haven't traded in the Ferrari, been out in it all weekend

The Countach you saw, was it a dark grey one? If so, that's from St. Neots too, near Parklands somewhere I think.

Any chance you guys are free this sunday? There is a Pistonheads run to Northants, loads of cars coming from St. Neots and loads of exotica from the surrounding counties, should be great fun.

Yeah it was dark grey H reg doing about 15 mph but still sounding superb. I'm on Parklands but don't think I've seen it before. Sunday sounds potentially quite interesting, but looking at the list I do feel I'd be just a little bit outclassed in my humble bog standard classic. What time are you planning on leaving St. Neots

Outclassed? Nonsense! It wll be great if you came along, should be a great day. It looks like the 'locals' are meeting on the market square at 9.30 for a 9.45 set-off.

My ferrari is going to the garage tomorrow to have a misfire diagnosed. If that isn't fixed I will be taking my scoob - I'll probably keep better pace in the scoob than I will the Ferrari!

Just heard from garage and it's (semi) good news.

ECU is not dead.

But ignition coil, Lambda sensor and RH fan switch are all dead.

Apparently Ignition coil was trying to spunk High Volts into ECU (?) ECU didn't want to play ball, so was killing fuel pump.

Should be fixed by close of play today. Get in!
