I am one of the St Neots ones!! I have a WR Blue WRX, currently on a 54 plate, but will soon have my PP on it (same as username) when the DVLA get into gear.

I'm in Huntingdon every weekend (to pick up my dry cleaning!) so I'll keep an eye out for all you Huntingdon scoobs

I always wave, so you'll know its me!!

I haven't done for a long time, I used to quite a bit for work. Love the road in-between March and Huntingdon - a wee bit bumpy, but stupidly fast

I always remember towing a friend home from Manea (sp?) - he was in a mini, I was in an astra GTE. We got into a race, and I ended up overtaking a mercedes 560SEC with him being pulled along behind at about 110!!

Ahhh, the things you do when you're young and stupid!!!

Now, I'm just a bit older and stupid

He wasn't very happy, no.

I remember looking in the rear view mirror and seeing him gesticulating that I was not a very nice person.

But it was still very funny. Makes me smile even to this day.

The blue-rinse mobile is Mr. Birds WR1 - not quite sure of any hidden meaning, I'm fairly new to the forum. And yes I am the noisy Alfa person !

2 foot scoobydoo in the back window give me a break!!!!
I see loads on Scoobs in and around Huntingdon but black Alf`s dont tend to get too much notice except when they drive past me gaff cos it is noisey!!!
I will be mostly sideways at the following locations on a daily basis.
Bramton Hut roundabout circa 8.30 am on the way to work followed possibly by a circuit at Spittalls but usually too busy in the mornings.........on return trip its very sideways going left at Brampton Hut going South on the A1.....a little sideways then at Buckden then its full bore sideways at the roundabout at the eaton socon end of the bypass (my personal favourite ) probably do a full circuit on that one mucho drifty then tesco`s roundabout for a little more.
Every day i look forward to going and coming back from work its the bit in the middle which drives me nuts!!!!
I always wave God knows why but I do.

Oh and I forgot if I go to my Bedford showroom its mucho drifty at the Cardington one under the bypass.
That one was very slippy with wet and salty **** yesterday......nearly got it a little wrong but all gathered together without too much fuss.
Diff to full rear when you think its in auto moment......you really do have to be on top of your game in those conditions doing that sort of stuff!!!!!
I believe Mr.Wood will agree

My WR1 will be in the area on Saturday when I finally get to pick her up

That'll make 3 I've seen! Not a bad ratio for a small area is it?

Cheers,

Matt.

Oh and maybe you guys can help on the questions I've posted on general:

Decent ICE place in Cambs/Peterborough?
Whose the best dealership out of Cambridge (Welch's) and Peterborough (Donalds I think)?

I would recommend you have a chat with Gary at Audiofile in car at Bishops Stortford if you want a pucka job doing on the ICE front.
My car has just been done and its very impressive 01279 757218
As far as servicing go`s I now use Milton Keynes Subaru in Fenny Stratford so far so good.

I used to see a WR1 fairly regularly in Godmanchester during morning rush hour.

I have a blue debadged classic and have only had a couple of decent waves.
Silver classic T555 *** and M reg that has the front numberplate as a sticker on the bonnet. Anyone on here?

In reponse to local dealers query; have heard that Quenby in Baldock are good.

I've used Welch's, they took me to work and picked me up too while my Scoob was in for a service.
I haven't dealt with Donalds much as I would only be able to get there on a Saturday so I use Welch's They has a 22b in when mine went in, but they couldn't get it on the ramp for the service

As for ICE, I recommend MC Mobile Connections in P'boro 01733 890930 Mick is the owner. He helped out with my Black Jax problems .
