COMPLETE IDIOT IN A XR2I
right,im not one to normally av a moan, and you probably dont even come on s/net.
but i hope you feel proud of your self after nearly killing me and my family
i had my indicator to overtake, just as i was pulling out you come flying past like a mad man allmost wiping us off the road, the guy in front was only doing 30 in a 40 so it was safe for me to over-take.
then you over-took a van on a blind corner,i just dont get it why risk your life just so you can over-take a subaru, then go and blag to your chav mates.
if its any consolation,i dident even come on boost
ps,this was in biddulph to night about 10:30.

Mirror......signal.....manoever..
Sorry to hear he nearly wiped you out, but Ive done this loads of times.
If someone is sitting behind a driver who is going slow, and he stays there.
I will overtake both of them, if its safe to do so.
If the car in front indicates and pulls out on me Ill sue the ******.....
Is that how it was?

When I learnt a few years ago, they were teaching Mirror-Signal-Position-Speed-Gear. They also reminded me to check my mirrors a second time after the signal to check its still clear.

Have to say just because you have your indicator on doesn't mean you have automatic right to pull out.
Git in the fester may well have been an idiot but it's mirror, signal, maneuver to avoid divs like him.

I was nearly killed a few years ago by the guy in front of me. He indicated to pull out, made the start of a move, wussed out, turned his indicator off, and pulled back in. I went to pass both vehicles and he decided to have another go, indicating and pulling out without looking. We ended up three-abreast with me on the verge...
Please tell me you checked your mirrors BEFORE indicating! If not, it isn't the driver of the XR2i that I fear...

Mirror Signal Manouvre - the last part (Manouvre) breaks down into 3 components Position Speed Look
That's how I taught it as a Driving Instructor and I am pretty sure it will still be the same. The reference to gear is to do with Speed, when you adjust your speed to the correct level you should select the appropriate gear for that speed.

I believe you if it's the former, but so many times I've seen the latter, and as stated above, have been the victim of it.

I've had the misfortune to be in a car driven by someone who decided to overtake someone who was overtaking... It does happen unfortunately.
