That'll be me then. Yep I think I got to the garage just after 10pm - forgot they closed so early. Still the new by passes are nice and smooth so nice ride. I was busy talking to my son when I heard your stealth burble past me. Lovely sound. Is the number plate something to do with the speed you go, the colour of your wagon your name or something else (I hope you know what I mean)?

Agree with you about those stretches of bypass.Certainly tempted a few people when they first opened.

A bit of each.

It was on my father's old Ford Consul back in the year dot, when they had black & silver metal number plates. He was in the RAF & liked the plate so was one of the pioneers of reg transfers. It's been in the family ever since.

It does go well with a black car & by pure chance is also my wife's initials.

As for speed.I'm sure I don't know what you mean.

I had just come back from our monthly Scoob fest at Southend & was still buzzing from being on the road & through the Dartford tunnel with 50 odd Essex/Kent Scoobys.

Hope to see you around, drive safe,

Mark

50 scoobs in the Dartford Tunnel Mark? I'd certainly pay a £1 to hear that .
