Yes it was me

windows down 3rd gear 2.5k rpm, then blatted it through the tunnel

what an awesome sound

(did it on the return journey too)

Agree with Ian, 2nd gear is better, especially at 5:30pm, slow right down with a silver merc behind you and floor it in 2nd right upto red line.....it's a great tunnel especially when it's really cold too.

So im not the only one then car gets about ten times louder too

Havent tried it in 2nd gear, will do that next time

I'd agree - 2nd is best - 3rd requires too much speed !

Though, I reckon a standing start from one end would be good at a time when no one else is around (Obviously) (In theory)

Defo a windows down job !!

Please NOTE that its a 40 mph zone
