Hope nobody on here owns/owned either of the two Scoobies seen being chased by the cops...

1 silver wagon which looked fairly tidy and was pulling away from the cops until it hit a lamp post

1 old silver WRX being driven by an absolute psycho and actually lost the police car!!! I felt sorry for the guy they stopped in the same car a few days after who aparently had just bought it.

Thats what scares me most...some idiot stealing my car and crashing it, due to the fact that they have no idea how to drive it!! i've had mine 18 months now and im still learning.

One good thing for the poor guy stopped is that he now knows it ain't stollen

That 4 door still looked a bit dodgy though didn't it? 2nd set of stick on plates, "Bought it off a bloke called Mark", "Just got it guv"......

Bet the guy was peed off seeing his car thrashed, although it could be a nice ad - "Cop rinsing Scoob, as seen on TV"

I noticed one of the adverts had a silver bug-eye either trying to head-on a copper or getting very out of shape. Anyone misfortunate to own it?

I think the bug eye is aimed right at the copper...that episode hasn't been shown yet...

On Sunday night on Bravo there was a programme about bank jobs or something and they showed the criminals choosing their car - one of them suggested that a nice "discrete" sonic blue STi 5 with big spoiler would be the ideal getaway car because nobody would look twice at it...?!

I thought maybe the Silver Bugeye is coming up behind a car with the camera in the back. Looks like he's about to pull out and gun it.

Watched it last night. Poor poor wrecked scooby! nearly made me cry.

I couldn`t believe the first part of the show though. All the bloody fuss and a bloody sting operation because they suspected a banned driver was going to be driving. And the very American way in which they attacked the car. Hard to understand when in this country you can be banned on photographic evidence, why not video the bloke driving and the get him into court to either extend his ban and fine him or imprison him.

Bloody ridiculous!

I liked the way the cop car had to rev it's bollocks off and still could only just keep up with the Scoob...

It's good to know that (if you really have to) you can evade the police Next time I see a copper behind me I am going to try and get away rather than pull over

Lol at your post. On the thread in general someone is suggsting the Police here should be more like the American cops.

Don't think it was over the top at all. Better dealt with in that way than making off and crashing into your car.

Some little **** taking the p1ss, getting what he deserves IMHO.

Nathan..

I think that banned drivers that get behind the wheel should get a good kicking. But the way the police went about it was pure sensationalism. One part that had me screaming at the TV was after they had arrested the drivers some plian clothes tw*t patted one of the arresting orificers saying "nice work" ? ? ? ? ?

WHAT? he beat up a bloody car! how is that "nice work"? I used to work in a breakers yard and beat cars up all day. Not once did CID come and tell me I was doing "nice work"

The last time my car got broke into I DIDN`T call the police. I put the tw*t in hospital along with his brother and warned his mates to expect the same. They did expect the same and not one car in my road has been touched in 3 years. If the police had come out we`d still have problems.
