Who has the 22B that potters through Hyde? ;-)

John,
I see a 22B every now and then travelling from Macc direction towards Stockport.I wonder if it's the same motor. That has number ** SUB.I actually spoke to the guy who owns it after I pulled up behind him on a garage forecourt a week or so ago.He is not an SIDC/Scoobynet member.I promised next time I see him to give him the web details etc.
So, hopefully a new 22B owning addition to the board soon?
He also told me his son has a Series McRae.Can only assume he's not on here either.
Steve

** SUB ? I pass him most mornings. Oldish guy drives it, but the younger one may be his son. I've seen the younger lad in the 22B and his normal 306 Maxi and there is also a Sierra Cosworth that they have.
EDIT - No full numberplate please.
Cheers guys

Well I drive through Hyde every weekday in My 22B heading towards Stockport (S555 EXX)and then down the A6 and into Manchester. Most mornings another 22B passes me going in the opposite direction (S? SUB I think)- driven by a chap with grey hair. Always flashes and waves. I also drive down the M60 most days. Usually see a P1 every morning as well travelling in the same direction as the 22B around Romiley.
Far too common these 22B's and P1's......
Regards Paul G.
How many of you are going on Northern Meet 5?

Hi Paul
I saw your car in the Texaco (I think!) petrol station in Hulme on Wednesday lunchtime.I was just going to ask if anybody else had seen it when your post popped up.Spooky
I would have come over for a chat but I was in an Astra(passenger honest) and did not feel worthy

Hello Andy,
Yes that would have been me getting my daily butty from the garage. Don't be so shy next time, say hello - have a drive if you want!
You might have to excuse the rubbish on the insides though (not just me, but the daily free newspapers and spent tins of diet coke).
Seriously though, you are welcome to have a blast.
Regards Paul.

Hi Paul,
I have seen your car also but not quite so often.
I used to work in Romiley and now travel down the M60 towards sharston every day.
I drive an MY98 Silver Sport although i have taken Rich Squires 22B Round these parts for a while.
22B's are far from common Great cars, If i see you around i'll give you a wave, even if i am walking down the highstreet.

SPJ, I pass him almost every morning. He comes through from Macclesfield into Poynton, across the A6, through Bredbury and down into Hyde heading out towards Ashton. Pretty similar route to me so I see him at different stages depending on when I set off. Always immaculate 22B.

Hello John,
I'll keep my eyes peeled in case I spot you. Is Rich Squires car the one that people rave about as being a particularly 'good' drive?
You'll have to have a blast in mine, I'd like to see how she compares. Even if the old girl's getting on a bit now!! ;-)
It felt quite common on Saturday, I popped into Warrender to look at the Evo 7 and they had two 22B’s in the showroom!
