I'm from Portchester. I drive a 2001 X reg Classic Turbo saloon in Red Mica with Gold 17" wheels, Clear side and front indicators. Soon to have a new boot spoiler and possibly exhaust.

There's quite a few around there - Rach in an Sti7 (blue), Barry and Lyn in a Stickered up P1 (you won't miss it ), Jamie in a Green MY97/98 with morrettes, large spoiler etc.
If you fancy meeting any of the guys there's a meet in Eastleigh at the Cricketers pub on Monday - 7.45 onwards...lots of Scoobs There's more info and a few of the cars described aboce featured here: www.hantsscoobies.plus.com

Mine's a Silver MY93 Jap Spec WRX - which lives in Gosport - just fitted a new induction kit which makes my dump valve sound like the thundering hooves of the seven horsemen of the apocalypse!
i.e. You'll hear me before you see me!
Its got a STi 6 rear wing and ATP Torsion wheels.

There's lots of other things usually taking place as well as the standard meets - so keep your eyes out!
As for ****shatts - (can't use the full name, upset's my car!) I don't think I better post my opinions on a public board - all IMHO of course

Haven't dealt with local dealer - apart from buying anti-freeze - have used Power Engineering but am now going to take the car to Wincanton as its a bit easier to get to.
Going to get them to do the wheel and suspension alignment. So if anyone has dealt with them previously would appreciate comments!

Agreeing with Jen here. Having bought my STi7 from sparshatts (mistake using them) I will never go in there again. Mine goes all the way from Warsash to Mill Lane in Basingstoke - fantastic dealer !!

Seems that Sparshatts have upset a few of you then - oh dear.
I must admit, my first impressions were not too good. I had just spent 21k on a car, given them plenty of notice of when I wanted it and when I arrived it was a farcical hand over. The car was not very clean, I asked for fitted mats to be in when I arrived - they weren't, I asked for Fog Lamp Covers to be fitted - they weren't. The Service Dept were ok when I took it for the first oil change but Parts Dept are crap.
Does anyone else use the basingstoke dealer??

Oh yes that reminds me when I was looking at buying a scoob I went 'here' and test drove a UK300 which the salesperson informed me was just as quick as the P1?????????? Oh well got an import anyways for a lot less than the second hand UK300 and P1.
Only use them for servicing and got a free car wash the last time I visited.
Cheers

Stu - the Basingstoke dealer is Mill Lane, always hear good things about their service guy Charles Our car used to go there before we brought it, now I use it as an excuse to go to TSL but I wouldn't worry about taking mine back to Basingstoke
Sunshine VII - I always wave at Evo drivers too There's a guy with a white one (sorry, he's always going to quick to figure out what it is ) in the Romsey area I wave at - the first time he just looked confused, but I think after that he's got used to me

I work in Fareham. I'll look out for you! RB5 with a keyed bonnet at the moment. and no fog covers - I've had to look along the sides of roads for them so many times now, I just leave them off.
