Eh? What's this? At Top Gear as in the BBC TV Program, the one just on this evening (17th), what's this about the 20th? Or is this a Top Gear magazine track day or something?

I'd love to have a go on that track, both in their "reasonably priced car" (they should change it for a Focus next series, what with their sub-10k offer) and in my Scoob. Wouldn't get anywhere near the lap record, but it'd be fun. How do people get themselves into this kind of thing?

Breezer - sadly being in the audience doesn't mean you get to go on or see any of the track stuff. Go to www.applausestore.com to apply for free tickets, but I don't know whether there's any left. It's filmed on the Wednesday and goes out on Sunday. We were at yesterday's (on Wednesday!) but you'll be hard pushed to spot me. Jen managed to be in quite a few of the shots though...

Btw, it's filmed just down the road from you near Godalming!

Cool! I've got the time for it now too... Unfortunately (looking for a job again - anyone know of a company looking for a decent C++ programmer, pref. on Unix and vaguely near Surrey?)

Er... That URL don't work at the moment. Sure you remembered/typed it right, or do they just have technical problems?

Pretty sure that's correct but I can't get to it either so I assume it's technical problems! A quick search on Google suggests it is the right URL...

Sorry - don't know of anywhere looking for C++ programmers but it's a tough market at the moment. Hopefully something will turn up soon... Worth asking in Computer-related as there's plenty of recruiters on here.

Tough market - don't I know it.

Thanks for the tip anyway.

John.
