Speed camera near Tewksbury

This b*stard flashed me this morning travelling towards the M5 from Evesham (A46). Its a 30 limit and I was doing just over 35. I thought the trigger level was 38 ? The twatso (sorry, gatso) was facing me but there were no lines on my side of the road. Will I get a ticket in 14 days ?

From what I understand...
You can not get a ticket from a gatso facing you. Supposedly, when they have no film, they;re beam is extra wide, hence why they flash you on the otherside of the road.
I regualy speedup towards camera facing me to set them off, as long as its quiet and not busy etc. If they don't flash it normally means they have film.
But they have to be behind you. Every pic I have seen taken from the cameras have always been from behind. This is not so for Red Light traffic cams though and i've not a clue about Motoway cam's either.
This info has been told to me by fairly reliable sources, such as the people who deal with the film and tickets etc, so i'm hoping its true

Guys
I was lead to believe that they can only catch you from behind as it wouldnt be fair to catch vehicles from the front as bikes dont have front plates! Surely this would be vindictive against car drivers?
Just my opinion

Right and wrong here, the 'Truevelo' is a forward facing camera, does not use radar and has no visible flash (infa-red), its designed to catch the identity of the driver and the tax disc.
I saw one up near Northampton a few months back.
But seeing as you were driving towards it and it flashed then its most probably a traditional Gatso, in which case you're fine.

Na mate you won't get a ticket. I went past a camera facing towards me in Croydon at 65 (didn't see it). Three months later ... no ticket. Relax you've got nothing to worry about

been flashed by that camera several times and no ticket. its normally set off by cars going towards it. so you should be ok,
but hey a speed camera in a sensible place, outside a school.

Thanks for all your replies, I havent heard anything yet (touching wood and crossing fingers, toes etc.) because I was new to the area and a little lost, I missed the 30 signs and actually thought its was a 40 limit, my fault 0/10 must try harder.....Blutes
