Waved at a blue new shape WRX this morning on the Swindon to Highworth road (I was in the blue STi). Nice looking car you have there

That was me!
I was on my way to Simpsons for the 10k service. They took care of me very well and even washed and hoovered the car. There's a wheel bearing to be replaced and they're going to fit a replacement CD unit to try and cure the skipping; all under warranty of course.
Thanks for the complement, I put it down to the magic of the Wax Wizard's products. Your STi looked rather spiffing though...
Cheers,
Mildo.

Ah well, I use Mr Underwoods finest wax as well
What did you do to deserve such service though. Simpsons have never washed or hoovered mine

Well, I took the day off and nabbed a courtesy car (a Forester Sport - somewhat spongey compared with a WRX!) so they had my car from 9am until they rang me at 4pm; maybe someone had some free time on their hands and was told to clean it.
I did apologise for the state it was in because I drove down from Yorkshire on Sunday, so maybe they thought it was a subtle hint? Either way, it's saved me a job - until the weekend that is!

I've had no problems with the service (they did the 10,000 mile service on my sti last week, and fitted a new set of tyres the week before), they've just never offered to wash it.
