You were going for it after the Stag and Hounds mate, I was a couple of cars back until then and I couldn't catch you, I had to turn off towards Binfield footy club so I didn't know whether the bit at the church would have given me a chance or not!

Good on yer mate, nice to see one being well driven.

Rav:

I have silver 16" wheels and no stickers on mine. The gold wheels are in the garage keeping clean. Do you have the standard 15" ones still on 'cos I am about to stick 4pots on so mine will be up for grabs if you want (with front callipers, pads and Tarox G88 40 groove disks too).

Craig.

Cat 051,

Thanks for the offwr - I have 17" silver wheels on mine so I don't need another set. Like you, my gold wheels are in the garage "keeping clean"!

Cat 051

Just noticed you've got discs and pads you don't want .. how many miles (approx) have they done? May be interested in taking them off you. I've got EBC discs and pads on mine, which I think have warped.

Guys

Be careful on that corner by the church past Binfield footy club. The surface is soooo slippy with some rain cos of all the leaves and stuff on the surface, and my old man is fed up with having to pull people out of the brick walls and fences when they fly round and lose it (he lives in the house next to the Church).

Thanks for the warning - it's a treacherous bend without water on it, especially when there's a wedding on ....

I've been using that road a lot over the last couple of weeks, and the number of times I've seen people almost crash there is unbelieveable!

It's also a bu99er when you get lorries pulling out in front of you at the last minute! I should know it happened to be this morning!

Rav: The disks are Tarox G88 40 grooves, about 10k but very little wear for it. The pads were Camberly Autofactor's Japanese pattern parts (about 3rd of price of Subaru Pads) with 10-15mm of material left on them. I want to keep them with the calipers if possible. Do you still have the 2 pot brakes on yours?

I go down the Binfield footy club turning mainly but on occasions (when I get to fly my model plane) I go further on towards White Waltham and if empty, that S-bend at the church is a real challenge, the problem is when someone turns at the junction without warning. A great bit of road, I love the Stag & Hounds bend, got to get used to it now they've grippy gravelled it though.

If we are continually using this road for various stuff (commuting, flying models planes, etc..), then one of these days I might see another Scooby on it aswell!

I have to agree though, if it's clear, it is a great piece of road all the way to White Waltham. Lets just hope the M4 services don't get built!
