Don't think it's just a few mate, Went all the way to Manchester and came back the "very" scenic route, Saw 5 Scoobs and was "admired" by loads of non scoob vehicles (potential scoobynet folk in thier company vans etc) and not as much as a mention

Maybe they are not as common as those EVO dudes will have us belive (tongue in cheek)

LMAO s emery ,i was just thinking that my self he is one for leaving the old scooby in a mess.
I get a lot of waves from other scoob`s but i dont think they are on scoobynet.
Maybe you are driving that fast dave they dont have time to wave back.

I have got a few waves around town.

One (grudgingly) from a guy in a DBM 99(?) who gave me a "you're very sad but I'll humour you" look! :P

Who owns the tarted up DBM with the ? "Motorsport" windscreen visor sticker? Was in traffic heading towards Trent Bridge the other evening about 6.30. Didn't see (or hear) me!

 

I always wave if I see someone. Most of the time get nothing back ... never been mentioned on this forum either!!

I agree, I've just bought my Sti, and not one Scooby owner has give me a wave. It could be I'm driving like an 80 yr old (running in). But seriously the only ackowlegement I get is from middle aged boy racers and kids. Shame Nottingham's quite nice other than that. Tell me what you drive and I'll promise to acknowledge you.....

I waved at 1 mica blue turbo and 1 silver turbo, heading away from Colin Street yesterday afternoon at 13:00.

 

got strobe lights on the p1 dave.

hey Salsa, I just saw you on the circuit about an hour ago! I tried to pull up by your side to say "Hello" but after about ten minutes of getting bored in traffic I decided to head home

Seems the police are clamping down on people parking up next to the NCP. There was also a mobile speed van on Castle Boulevard (conveniently hidden behind a tree if you were heading out of Notts <grrr> ) .... luckily I was below 30 when I passed thru :-)

You're right...most people I see in Nottingham, don't wave. They obvioulsy don't get the whole Scoob thing, which is there perogative. Only the usual 'crowd' seem to wave.

If you see a half stripped out P1, wave, 'cos it's me.

I ALWAYS wave to every Scoob- Turbo or Sport and when I don't get a wave back the missus just laughs at me and calls me a sad ****!

well I'm pleased to say that I bought a Scooby on Friday, drove it back from Chesterfield, and as soon as I saw another one in Nottingham I got a flash (oo-er) and a wave ... twas near the Priory Island ...
