Nice STi UK in the car park today with grey alloys and huge AP racing brakes on the front.

HP Reading still sounds odd, Compaq Reading is more like it

Not down for "the chop" then? Heard quite a few rumours about bad times ahead for a lot of people...

I know who has the UK300 - he's a rally driver and the 300 is is day to day car - and the other STi UK is mine. I don't think I've seen an STi 7 either.

Towzer, Wurzel,

Do you both work for HP then ?

From the addresses looks like Wurzel is an "HP Heritage" person
and Towzer a "Compaq Classic" !!!

Reason I ask is that I work for HP, but am based over at Oracle at TVP, but my boss works in BBN !!!

Hi Philip,

No, not really that obvious, more a case of simple calculation.
Old HP didn't have any offices as such in Reading therefore it must
be an old CPQ office and probability was that you prob came from the CPQ side !!!!

Yep, I know 510 very well as I work in 520 (next door !)

Chris

ps. not very chuffed at the spread of job cuts. I work in ESG who are to be hit with 350 after losing 35% of our workforce last Sept !!!

(email Chris.Fitzpatrick@oracle.com is best)

pps. don't know your wife !!!

Hi. I have a UK300 and work at Pinewood. Unfortunately, car is for sale which depressses me mightily..... only 10K miles and less than a year old.

There are a number of folk at Pwd that have Scoobies, mainly old body style... however, today we seem to be having a Boxster day for some reason, three silver ones parked in heringbone style in visitors car park

Fitz... I am in same boat. I work in HPC and we (as part of HPS) are down for 350 as well. This follows on from the VR that took place last October as well as the compulsory second round that we had in March.

I am wondering if it will be third time 'lucky' for me or if I will make it through having survived the last two rounds

Well personally, I'd rather be an employed rich hairdresser
with a boxster than a skint redundant ex-HP person who had to just sell their STi !!!

Not sure what's up with the hair dressers' convention out of doors.... perhaps they've come to sample our lovely parkland surroundings....

i have not seen any white shell suits to accompany your handbags though... the education lot must be falling down on the job!!!

Rain! Rain don't talk to me about rain, you should try being in BBN at the moment it is raining so hard you can't see out the windows. it is also cold and foggy.
