Default Newage sti short engine

Looking for a newage sti short engine to go in my classic or possibly long engine (newage short motor with v3/4 heads)

What have you got, cash waiting.

I have a 2008 2.5 litre pegged block fully forged long engine with ported/matched STi4 heads, quite capable for 500 bhp £3000 if interested.

Looking to spend £1000-£1500 if possible

I can supply a rebuilt 2.0 semi closed new age sti short engine, std spec but fully refurbished with acl race bearings, std size cross drilled crank, honed bores with new rings, new seals, new 11mm oil pump £1200 delivered
3 month warranty

It's a straight swap over, the 99 block and heads are essentially the same dimensions, std headgaskets (0.6mm) will give you the same compression ratio. Everything else is a direct fit.

No extra work at all, just use 1.2mm headgaskets with your heads, phase 1 and 1.5 heads (V1-2) are 47cc combustion chambers, phase 2 and new age are 49cc, hence needing differnt gaskets for correct comp ratio

to anyone offering an engine ive decided to go for a v8/9 block, have it rebuilt and use my heads + ancillaries. Thanks for the offers.

IIRC, Paul at Zen said the phase 1 MY93-96 WRX heads flow around the 380bhp mark. I believe the limitations of the hydraulic tappets are responsible for curbing the power, before the actual cam profile does, IYSWIM.
