That's a good point, I'm not sure what mine is? The car is a completely standard 52 plate WRX wagon if that might help highlight which one.

the Nurspec R Exhaust is 3" Centre all the way back.

The one I have bought is from a classic i have the rear and centre section which look to be 3" all the way through so I am assuming I need a 3" downpipe to match, ill double check tonight.

Mine is a newage Nur spec R mate if that helps. Sure I read they all taper down to a 2.5" to fit the standard down pipe could be wrong so prob worth checking

Most taper down to 2.5" at the flange. I have a catless 3" downpipe from a 98 available if thats any good.

If your worried about the tapering to 2.5" at the flange limiting power, this doesnt really have any effect until 450bhp+, so unless your aiming for a big build then 2.5" flange is fine.

Thanks for the info I was a little concerned about restricting the system so thanks for that, I will double check the exhaust to be fair I haven't looked at the exhaust properly yet it only arrived a few days ago and has been sat in a dark garage, I only looked at one end of the center section in detail so I may well be barking up the wrong tree, I will double check this evening and check for a taper to 2.5"

Could you hold these until about 7pm tonight? I just need to double check the Flange on the center pipe I have to make sure if its 3" or 2.5"

I have purchased a Classic Nur spec Centre pipe and back box, Which i want to fit to my bugeye, I just need to make sure I get the correct parts to match.

The nur spec I have is definitely 3" all the way on the centre and back section, so I definitely need a downpipe that will meet up with a td04 and go to 3" at the centre pipe
