Default 4 pot brake pad shims

as the thread says. im finding it hard to find em anywhere. so does anyone have some or know where to buy em cheers.

2001 wrx standard for pots just for front drivers side, cheers

hi ian, cheers for the reply. i think im calling shims something else then, im after the anti squeal bits that sit behind the pads. i brought your discs and kevlar pads you had on offer but when i took the old ones off the drivers side has none and get a bit of rattle from it now. is this something you do. cheers.

You don't have to run them , I find it gives you a spongier pedal feel with them in , I just put some copper slip on the backs of the pads where the pistons touch.

If you are getting a rattling , just tighten up the spring in the link I sent you above by bending it so its a tighter fit on the pads , this will stop them rattling about

do you mean the t piece of metal ian? bend it so holds against the pins more or less? cheers for your help. if that doesnt work then cheers mike

Yes the T piece of metal , bend it so its tighter to fit on the pins
