MIGHT get one for that.

Mine was £1800 off ebay two and a half years ago.

Don't forget to get all the bits:

Box, drive shafts, diffs, cradle, all linkages, gearknob, and I was told to get starter and also to make sure that the clutch cylinder was in place.

One here, (to which I have no links): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/subaru-imp...item4600fe9910

FULL KITS seem to start at this level. There are others on the bay.

If i were you i would have a go in a 6 speed before going that route, some folks can;t stand the ratio's on them as well as the feel of them when changing gear.

Is it a semi-automatic i.e. are you nursing a semi.

Don't forget the PPG 5-sp gearset with the OEM-like gear spacing (albeit the OEM New Age 6-sp replacement route is allegedly the strongest - and cheapest).

Plus Scooby Clinic do 'their own' uprated 5-sp gearsets.

I don't know what all the fuss is about.

I love my 6-speed box.

Do you EVER see newage owners fitting 5-speed boxes?

Just to be awkward I'd fit a five speed sequential box in the blink of an eye....

Sorry !

Sequential? So would I, but I'd NOT want to go back to my 5-speed Scoob box, even if it was strong enough.

You emptied your inbox yet dunx?

I loved my uk 6 speed box when I had mine, but I just wish id of got either a fozzy 6 speed box or a later 6 speed with longer 4th gear to avoid an extra change on the drag strip. If your not draggin tho, a 6 speed makes fir a good all round package IMO.

My 5 speed is notch anyway. I have driven a 6 speed and thought it was ok. Scooby Clinic quoted me 3K for their 5 speed which I thought pricey and a 6 speed should be stronger.
