ended up having a timewaster on ebay...

Here we have for sale is TD04L removed from my Import 99 UK Turbo 2000 with only 95,000 Miles
The turbo is in perfect working order, no smoke, no play in any direction. there is no damage to any of the fins.
This turbo was always allowed too warm up and cool down on my car, has only been removed due to having a bigger turbo fitted.

i've got one here with a 90 degree inlet, come off my 94 wrx due to fitting a td05. Mint condition and was in use till i pulled my engine out for a rebuild about a week ago. £75 posted.
