As title, I need an o/s/r shock absorber for a '05 Blob STI.

Have Some APEX/BC Coilovers that would fit yours if you want to take advantage of a bad situation and upgrade?

You're going to struggle. KYB don't make aftermarket shockers for the 5x114PCD fitment on the 05 Blob STI, I should know spent weeks searching. Found out from a Subaru dealer that they use the same shocks as the hawkeye but that won't help you either. Replacements from Subaru (made by KYB) are more expensive per corner than a set of coilovers.

I've got a set of brand new Apex coilovers, rear adjustable top mounts and rear extenders which I paid £600 for direct from Apex. Apex have since put the price back up to £679 just for the coilovers then plus £80 for the other things. I've not even opened the box so you could have them for the same price as I paid once you realise it's probably the cheapest option.

no worries. i did check breakers, know it's a common problem and didn't want to risk getting another broken part especially when the price different is marginal (per corner that is)

I know there is a little risk but its from a reputable breakers and due to other commitments (wedding lol) I need it as cheap as possible!

What's really annoying is that the Subaru dealership I bought the car from replaced the n/s one a week before I bought the car
