Backbox wanted
#3
I have a Scorpion Tuner 4 backbox for sale. Polished stainless steel with a 4 inch tailpipe. Looks a bit like an HKS Super Drager (only smaller). 2 months old. Looking for £150 ono.

How loud is it m8? I'm looking for a nice burble that's not too loud on the motorway. I've heard a magnex 6x4 with decat centre and that was about right - any idea how the scorpion would compare?

It's not too loud at all at motorway speeds. Nice burble at idle and sounds fantastic on take off!!
If anything, it's slightly quieter overall than the Magnex I have at the moment.

Which magnex do you have, the 6x4 or the 3.5 round? Are you sure it's only 4" btw, the Tuner pipe on scorpions website is listed as 5".
How does £135 sound? Would you be ok to post it, and if so how would you want to sort out payment etc. I am in the north west btw.
Cheers

I currently have the Magnex 3.5 round. The Scorpion is definitely 4 inch (have measured it!). Although they are called "Tuner 5" apparently Scorpion couldn't get the 5 inch exhaust to fit under the Scooby bumper, so they built a 4 inch version instead.
Can we say £140 to help cover cost of postage + packing? Can you e-mail me your contact details/phone number? Cheers m8.
