speedo cable for my version 3 sti 1997
as above i need cable as my MPH clock has stopped working..
assumed its speedo cable maybe from gearbox to the speed convertor

Frustrating isn't it? Are your revs limited to 4000rpm?
Mine has got the cable in 2 pieces with the converter imbetween but some cars have one long cable with the converter behind the speedo. I got quoted 55 quid for a new cable and 2 week leadtime from Subaru!!! Better off getting second hand mate! Hope this helps?

yes very frustrating lol....no it goes over 4000rpm
im going to take the whole cable off and put a few pics up so it helps if someone has one for sale
just hoping it is the cable and nothing else lol

Mine has gone into limp home mode because the ecu is not getting a speedo signal. So mine is limited to 4000 rpm but I'm not sure if that's because I've got a simtek.
