I've got one
Ours had a leak from the wire going into the pump. Bought a second
hand pump straight away, and didn't look into seeing if you can replace the wire on it's own. Well, it turns out you can
The cost of the wire is around £60 including a gasket. So only the
wire needs replacing, and the units as good as new.
Hows £50 sound? The second hand unit cost me £150, so even with buying the wire you should save some dosh.
