I have looked on scoobyworld and the turbo backbox and sport backbox look the same on the pics and are priced the same, as for the noise I think that it is because of the boxer engine and a turbo backbox should make it a bit louder than your standard one.

I had a Magnex 6x4 back box on my Sport, it was originally on a Turbo so Turbo back box fitted hangers ok, it was the mating flanges that were different.
I couldn't put it straight on. I had to buy a centre section from Jap Innovations (This company gone now, but you may be able to get a 2nd hand one)
This had a (-*can't remember name*-mind gone blank!) in it to keep the back pressure up as car is normally aspirated not Turbo. You can't just put a Turbo centre section on! I know I tried! You would also lose low down power if you put a straight thru one on
I had to fudge the holes to get these to match up as mating flanges were slightly out to each other.
This made a big difference to the burble noise, but if you really want to release the flat four burble you need to be looking at a Borla manifold
If you get no joy on here, try imprezasport.net
Good luck pal - Darren
