12kg centre diff
As title reads, I'm looking to buy a 12kg centre diff and have gotten to the point where I need to look on the other side of the pond to find one. I understand these came standard on some UK model Impreza's? Hopefully someone has a spare to part with, or would be interested in trading for a Cusco Tarmac centre diff?
I have a Cusco Tarmac diff to offer in trade for a low milage 12kg diff should anyone be interested. It totally transforms the car into a throttle steering track hound! Unfortunately, It also leads to a little too much rear wheel spin off the line for my dicipline of autocross.
Thanks, cheers, mazeltov, etc....

I should have one here.
I've bought a front diff last week and got the center diff with it. I am told it's a 12kg, but I would have to open the casing to see what's inside.
Tomorrow I can probably do that. I'll shoot some pics for you.

Not a huge hurry. I won't be using it in anger until spring....but this Tarmac diff has to come out right now.....It is of little use on snow/ice.

Yes, I did thanks. I believe I replied to the email...but could be wrong.
I don't know of any tell tale marks or numbers to identify the diff as being a 12kg, or standard 4 kg type. I'll go back and email you for sure.
Cheers,
Jay

Will do.
As for tranny codes, I am not sure which had the 12kg. More reading is showing possibly just the P1 having it. Otherwise, only available as an STi upgrade.
