Default Alloys for classic with brembos/ap

Hi

I currently have 16" compomotive MOs on my type r, love the look but they only just clear the standard 4 pots, at some stage I want to upgrade to the later brembos or some other bigger brake kit and as Ive just killed the front tyres now could be a good time to get a set of 17 or 18s with enough offset or whatever to cover the brakes.
Must have decent tyres, ideally Id like larger MOs or that style and preferebly in dark gray rather than gold.
But let me know what you have as I am in a bit of a rush as the MOT is due soon... if I cant find any I'll have to get some new tyres just seemed a waste as I'll still go to 17/18s later...

Whats the ride quality going to be like on 18s in a type r (which is pretty damn hard on 16s)

Cheers
Ben

Brembo's won't go under them, but AP's should.
