Default Need ej 20 parts!!-turbo down pipe, turbo, loom etc

Hi there,

Converting a 71' Bay Window camper to Scooby power, just bought an engine but am shy several parts.
Required
  1. Camcover
  2. turbo (too much end-play in mine)

You need to specify year for cam cover. There are variations.

Have recently discovered that, its a 90's EJ20 Subaru Impreza engine, does that narrow it down or do I need more details?!

90's covers 1990-1999, whioch has several different types.

You did mention somewhere above it might be 98 ??

Where is/are the coil(s) mounted ? that will narrow it down a bit. Or post a pic.

For a downpipe. Whilst they arent fantastic you could check egay out. Im sure there are lots of aftermarket varieties out there intended for Imprezas that you could use.

I imagine you'll be doing some cutting at it anyway

Given he's building a VW camper...I dont think emissions will require a CAT, as they probably werent even invented back then.

It will pass a perfectly legitimate MOT without a CAT

I am not in the know but surely if you put a new-skool engine in an old-skool chassis certain extra rules and regulations would be in force? Either way, kind of irrelevant and off-topic.

Emissions can go by whichever is older. Engine or chassis, although this has to be proven.

its a lot easier to verify the age of the chassis !
