Excuse my ignorance, I'm a newbie Scooby 0wner!

Calling All Subaru Jedi Masters, simple question:

Why is a Subaru Impreza known as a Scooby? Subaru = Scooby? Scoobaru?

Hence why at meets 90% of owners will have Scooby Doo somewhere in the car.

Me, I carry a 36" Scooby Doo in the back seat. He keeps guard when the Scoob is parked and doesn't complain half as much about my driving than the missusDoesn't get travel sick either
