I have all the bits needed for a donor for a 5 speed DCCD build - all you'll need is the PPG gearkit. Or I have just the DCCD for a 5 speed and you can rebuild your own box with it.
don't go six speed ...if you are going 2.5 as the gearing is low compared to a 5 speeder .....if I was to do it again( i had a 6 speeder fitted ) I would go 5 speed PPG

Depends on what you fit. After all he's got an RA so it will have the low ratio box anyway.
I had a UK 6 speed DCCD 'box fitted to my Type R and it's higher geared than the standard type R 'box. So, if you want the low gearing, go for a Jap 6 speeder. Or, if you want higher ratios, go for the UK 'box.
Of course, the other option is the PPG
Don't forget the extra weight of the 6 speed 'box though.
