the amp is actually a dual mono(2x100),silver/chrome plated,internal fan for cooling,gold plated terminals, all the usual on an expensive amp. approx 4 yrs old with a few scratches on cover. not sure if it can be bridged to run one sub but being a dual mono it runs two easily. btw 2x100 power is actually a conservative rating.as for quality, well if you have not heard of genesis (french)they are reputid to be one of the best! maybe nick (chiark) could enlighten you.
i bought it second hand from my friend 2 yrs ago for £275 and it cost him over £600 brand new ! so i can assure you its a good amp, but maybe not what you are looking for

Have a Hi-Fonics boltar Generation X amp. 2x225 at 4ohms, 1x700 at 1ohm. Long story but has never been installed or used + is about 4 1/2 years old. Cost around £700 when I bought it. Guess I would look for around £300?

Cheers. well I have asked around and have found what this amp is worth to me. I have spoken to "Genesis" and as long as this amp has not had the *** thrashed out of it. It should do the trick running the speakers in stereo. it will not bridge. Reccons the load will kill it. I am happy to take your word for it,on condition etc. Are you happy to pack it up and arrange secure delivery??
