STI Wagon
Need to replace my classic Wagon after an accident a couple of months back and looking for an STI version this time - or possibly a tastefully modified one..
looking for something around MY99 with reasonably low mileage and in top notch condition. Even better if near central Scotland but travel can be considered for the right car...
WHY??

my STI version 5 '99 (as well as our foz s-turbo) will be shortly up for grabs as we are moving up to a forester STI.
A few pics below, I can pm some more pics if you like, do a search on my posts to see the history of my wagon, you will find most of the info on the two wagon threads that we generally live in. I'm sure people like trails, granby, Krud, lord harding and many more can vouch for my wagon being a genuine clean example.
It suffered a bottom end failure at 66k (3k ago, last november) and finally put it back on the road in april this year. It was rebuilt using a JDM STI 9 crank and rods, mahle pistons and acl bearings etc etc, mapped by pat herborn to run a safe 301.5 on surrey rolling road. Engine built was built with reliability in mind rather than power.
pity i'm on the south coast.
PM us if your interested, STi wagons are pretty rare as you probably know and version 5's dont come up that often especially ones with a 4k sti9 build
cheers

Yeah m8 - could be interested depending on how much you are looking for of course. Had my eye on a v4 but the bou just emailed this morning to say he had changed his mind about selling it (
Been without scooby for 2 months now waiting on insurance and getting hacked of to the point of getting a shed of some description as a run around till the right car comes up. Who know when that will be.
If you can send some pics and any other details along with a rough idea of how much you hope to get. Appreciated that V5s are indeed pretty rare but the marker is dead as a dodo at the moment.. Just stupid works here that needs a new car but suppose that is good for me
Cheers

Added a couple of older ones for you to post above. The colour is a unique rare colour as well, similar to Terzo blue, nobody has ever identified it.
will get some more this weekend for you.
Will keep in touch Cheers
