Sti Centre exhaust
Hi guys, after an original Subaru OE STi (no catalyst) centre exhaust section, can anyone help me out, preferably within easy collection of Leamington Spa.

When you say 'centre section'....
Is this newage ?
If so, the newage has 2 centre pipes - a forward one with a cat and a rear section, with no cat IIRC...
I do have the rear one if that's any help to you.. I'm in Staffordshire,

Thanks, already called API, thought they were asking a bit much for what to them is a used cast off! Have a possible P1 centre in Brum as well. Anyone any idea what one should be worth? Based on the complete STi v8 exhaust that cost me £50 (still being cut and shut to decat the DP) I thought no more than £30 or am I being optermistic!

i take it the p1 is the same as my jdm wagon center section, which looks like a cat but is in fact a resonated section..... if so there dont have that great deal of value as most want a straight through decat pipe,or the center cat for mot purposes,i use one to keep the noise down a tad and it looses very little power over a decat pipe.... £30 is prob not far off what i would want to pay for one as center decats go for approx £50 and cat pipes a little more sometimes........

Thanks rigga, it gets sillier as I've now been quoted £80 somewhere else, I was told that the only OE centre thats non-cat is the 98MY-00MY Sti (and hence P1). Trouble is most sellers don't know what is an isn't a cat they just look at the outside! What model is yours WRX/STi and what year as it may broaden the avilability!

mines a my00 model wrx wagon..... center section does indeed look like a cat, until you take a peek inside to see a perforated tube instead of a cat matrix .... think all jdm models of that era came with a downpipe cat only and the center section as a resonated pipe,uk versions came with two cats.... so should be plenty of jap spec center sections about....

OK thanks rigga, opening it up to WRX as well should make life a lot easier! Its actually to go on my Forester which has no cat but the most horribly restrictive resonator known to man (and others), using a Subaru exhaust should keep the insurers happy!
