Head gasket is leaking and pressurising the system, still drives perfectly well but if driven enthusiastically coolant lost through top up pipe by battery, obviously isn't being driven at the moment.

Seriously give me £3k I'll give you the keys, it has a few extras too, you won't be disapointed.

I have a MY98 S facelift wagon just had new cambelt + tentioner and 2 other bearings at the front (£300 worth) Runs well but has a slight tap on the left side, carpark dents etc, £2550 no offers!
As this is a cheap car.
